WEB DESK: New York Fashion Week is in full swing and the designers are doing all to flaunt their collections in style. Many newcomers are welcome in the prestigious show and so was this Indonesian Anniesa Hasibuan.

Not only this was her first show in New York, she also became the first one to showcase a Hijab collection in NYFW for the first time. And may we say, it turned out pretty successful, not to mention graceful!

Hasibuan said she used printing techniques for belt and batik for the patterns on the hijab to add an element of boldness and an Indonesian touch to her designs. And she chose the earthy tones of gold, green and peach to make the detailed designs.
