Recipe of the day: Chicken Lollipop

Ingredients
  1. Chicken wings - 10
  2. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  4. Green chili - 1, chopped
  5. Chili garlic sauce - 1 tbsp
  6. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  7. Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  8. Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
  9. Egg - 2
  10. Corn flour - 2 tbsp
  11. Salt - to taste
  12. Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
  13. Oil - 3 - 4 tbsp (for frying)
Method
  1. Cut the chicken wings from the joint into two (picture no. 2). Scrape down the meat from the bone to make the chicken lollipop (picture no. 3). Also remove the thin bone from the pieces with two bones and pull the meat towards up to make the chicken lollipop (picture no. 3).
  2. Marinate the prepared chicken pieces with the above ingredients and keep it in the refrigerator for an hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, and fry these chicken pieces turning the sides till done and turns golden brown. Remove the fried chicken lollipop from the oil.
  4. Serve as it is or toss the fried chicken lollipop in the prepared chili sauce and serve immediately.
For the sauce
Ingredients
  1. Ginger - garlic (finely chopped) - 2 tsp
  2. Green chili - 1, chopped
  3. Chili garlic sauce - 2 tbsp
  4. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  5. Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Sugar - a pinch
  8. Water - 2 tbsp
  9. Oil - 2 tsp
Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger - garlic and green chili and saute till the raw smell disappears. To this add chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, coriander leaves, salt and sugar and combine well. Add 2 tbsp water to it and cook for a minute.
