WEB DESK: To be awarded civil awards is probably the highest honor anyone can receive. The Pride of Performance is the honor bestowed by the President of the country and this year Sarmad Khoosat made it to the list.
Sarmad told a local newspaper, “It is extremely overwhelming and no words of gratitude will suffice the love, acceptance and appreciation my country and people of my country have showered me with. I hope and pray that I won’t let them down, ever. I will be eternally indebted to this ‘mitti‘.â€
The selected few are awarded on 23rd of March every year. Whole industry congratulated Khoosat who directed known dramas like Humsafar, Shehr-e-Zaat, and he’s played the lead role in Manto.
