WEB DESK: Akshay Kumar is all busy promoting his upcoming film Rustom which is set to hit the screen this Friday (August 12). But on the occasion of Friendship Day, this actor took to Twitter to wish his ‘one and only’ best friend and better-half Twinkle Khanna.

Akshay posted a crazy picture of the two saying: Happy #FriendshipDay to my #OneAndOnly… You are the Star that makes me Rock ❤ #growingcrazytogether

In the picture, Akshay can be seen posing with a guitar, while the couple is seen decked in funky wigs. Twinkle too shared the post on her Twitter page saying: When we both have a really bad hair day:) #bestfriends #aboutlastnight

Akshay is a family guy and the couple often post each other’s pictures on social media. Twinkle met Akshay for the first time during a photo session for a magazine and married him on January 17, 2001. Together they have a son, Aarav and a daughter, Nitara.

Akshay often credits Twinkle for his success. After Naseeruddin Shah’s deplorable remarks made at India’s first ever superstar Rajesh Khanna recently, Akshay was seen supporting his wife Twinkle.

When asked if he was as hurt as others when Naseer called his father-in-law “poor actor”, Akshay said, “It’s okay. Everything is finished. He apologized. So everything is over. Let’s go ahead.”

However, Akshay didn’t seem too pleased elaborating on the matter. When further prodded, Akshay said, “Don’t try and get something out of me. Let this industry be together. We are all in peace. Don’t make it pieces. Everything is over. If he apologized, all should be gracious enough to let it go.” A lot of celebs from the industry too stood behind Twinkle slamming Naseer for his remarks.
