Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has thanked Afghan president on Saturday on the elimination of TTP terrorists responsible for the Army Public School (APS) tragedy from the Afghan soil.
In a telephonic talk with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani informed the Prime Minister that the mastermind of the APS massacre Omar Khurasani along with his four accomplices was killed a few days back in coalition forces' strike.
The Afghan leader said the APS massacre was a great tragedy for Pakistan and the world and the perpetrators got the ultimate response.
He said that Pakistan is fighting against terrorism and is fully committed to eliminating the last terrorism from its soil and while doing that the security forces have rendered unprecedented sacrifices.
"I will lead the campaign to eliminate every terrorist from the soil of my country. Terrorism is a common threat for both countries and must be eliminated through better co-ordination," Nawaz Sharif said, a statement from the PM's office said. Ashraf also inquired about the health of the PM.
