Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar said on Tuesday that the biggest political party in Karachi was being pushed to the wall, adding that even the valid complaints of the party were not being addressed.
Addressing a press conference, Sattar said that Muttahida was the biggest stakeholder in Karachi, further adding that the party was expressing its concerns for the past few months which were not being addressed.
He said that an unannounced ban was being placed over the party's social and political activities, adding that the party workers felt alienated in the entire situation and enquired that what would become of the people if their basic rights get curbed.
Sattar stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and Sindh Corps Commander should take notice of the 'ban' over developmental works.
