ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday nullified Establishment Division's notification terminating the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman Tariq Malik.

IHC Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi announced the decision that had been reserved on December 13.

The court also set aside the notification of appointment of Director General NADRA Brigadier (R) Zahid Hussain as acting chairman NADRA.

However, amidst this controversy, Tariq Malik had resigned from his office on January 10.
