The finance minister expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for facilitating devotees on the Urs and particularly lauded Secretary Auqaf Punjab Dr. Saqib Aziz for excellent arrangements.

The finance minister also appreciated the working of various committees for logistic work, security, food for devotees, arrangements for Qirat, Naat programmes, lodging and boarding facilities for Ulema and Mushaikh, transport and communication.

The minister congratulated the committees for arrangements made during the Urs. The meeting also took stock of expenditure on the Urs and the finance minister directed that transparency and strict adherence to the rules and regulations must be followed.

The meeting was also attended by senior officials of the Punjab Government and members of the Data Darbarreligious affairs committee.
