AUCKLAND- New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first in the opening Twenty20 against the West Indies at Eden Park on Saturday.
Nathan McCullum, who becomes only the third New Zealander to play 50 Twenty20 internationals, will lead the teams on to the field.
The two other New Zealanders to have passed the 50 mark are his brother and captain Brendon McCullum, and former Test skipper Ross Taylor.
