The collective funeral prayer was offered at police ground near Civic Centre which was attended among others by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, IGP Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch, Additional IGP, Karachi Shahid Hayat, Station Commander Brig. Furrkh Niazi, representatives of political and religious parties, relatives and friends.

The SSP-CID Ch. Aslam and his two colleagues constables Farhan and Kamran were killed in a powerful bomb blast here on Thursday. Another twelve policemen accompanying them were also injured.
