ISLAMABAD: Thousands of tourists from different areas of Pakistan and abroad are visiting Murree to enjoy snowfall over the beautiful hills.

Every year in winter season tourists rushed to Murree to enjoy the snowfall especially in hilly areas. All the restaurants and rest houses are filled with tourists. The hotels business is at peak in this freezing season. Almost all the small and big hotels are booked.

The Mall Road which is the hub of Murree is flooded with tourists in this cold weather.

Tourists are enjoying hot coffee and tea while walking on the Mall and at shopping centres. There is a great rush in restaurants and cafes that people have to wait for hours to get seats for tea and meal. The people who get seats inside the restaurants have a chance to enjoy beautiful view of snowfall.

Businessmen and shopkeepers of the city seem happy to see increased business activity. “I am enjoying the weather here,” said a visitor Asim Raza. “We are spending good family time and the children are especially happy,” adding “Murree has enjoyable entertainment facilities he lauded the civic body for construction of numerous attractive picnic spots.”

He said the local administration should develop more recreational facilities to attract visitors considering Murree has naturally beautiful locations like Pindi Point and Kashmir Point.

Mall Road and Ayubia etc are packed with tourists. Tourists are visiting different remote areas and enjoying chairlift at Pindi Point. The resorts are packed with tourists and the demand for warms cloths and woolen sweaters has been increased because of snowfall.

Murree has many naturally beautiful picnic points no doubt it is the best place to spend winter holidays.
