He also urged to change in education curriculum in modern pattern for innovation to adopt modern learning procedure for quality education in the country.
Addressing a National Teachers Conference, organized by the education advocacy campaign "Alif Ailaan", Prof. Ahsan Iqbal said that country's need creative minds to explore the new world of technology and modern science for the development and prosperity of the nation.
He said that Muslims have great history of research in science and technology, which gave foundation to the modern scientific and technological world.
The Minister said the government had taken an important step to improving teaching conditions as well as the quality of education for Pakistan's children.
He lauded the fact that teachers had embraced the opportunity to engage in dialogue rather than using street protests as a means to be heard.
In his address Ahsan Iqbal said that he will talk to the Prime Minister and discuss what he had heard from the delegates at the conference.
He said that it is responsibility of the teachers to give civic sense and concentrate of character building of the student at the initial classes.
He said that government is committed to invest in field of education and enhance the capacity of the teachers for the quality education in the country.
