Chairing a meeting of provincial Cabinet here, the Prime Minister said Balochistan was country's important province and the government would employ the natural resources for the province's betterment and progress.
He said early completion of the development projects was top priority of his government.
Government has achieved many tasks during the four years and performed remarkable duties however the dictator deteriorated the condition in Balochistan.
During the dictator's era, Balochistan situation get worsen. However government invites all Baloch leaders to come forward for discussion, said PM.
The members of the provincial Cabinet members congratulated the Prime Minister on assuming his office and extended full support for democracy and improving the law and order.
The provincial Cabinet pointed out that the projects of Rekodiq, Kacchi canal, operationalization of Gwadar-Rato Dero road, Zhob-DI Khan transmission line need to be completed on priority.
The issue of shortage of drinking water was also raised and the Prime Minister assured that the completion of the Mirani Dam would ensue provision of 200 million gallon additional drinking water for the people.
He said he would also be getting an update on the steps being taken by the Pakistan Navy to meet the needs of drinking water for the people of Gwadar and Ormara.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said that Balochistan was the government’s priority and invited Baloch leaders to come and sit across the table in finding an amicable solution to the province’s issues.
Federal will support the province in restoration of peace. President Asif Ali Zardari had apologized with the Baloch nation and I am glad to see a coalition government in the province, added PM Ashraf.
