Addressing a press conference at party’s central secretariat in the provincial capital on Wednesday. He asked the PML-N to resign from the Parliament over the Nato supply resumption.
Khan stated that " Reopening of Supply routes is the failure of the so-called democratic government they have sold out nation's dignity and honour".
He questioned who would take the responsibility of the killings in the possible increased suicide attacks after the reopening of the Nato supplies. Imran said that PTI had been saying for the last eight years that it was not our war and now the European and American people were also opposing their governments for continuing war against Afghanistan.  “Why the government has dropped the $5,000 per container transit fee on the supplies,†Imran questioned.
Khan stressed that the PTI was not anti-US and did not want any confrontation with it. “But it is a fact that the American public and decision-making bodies now realise the futility of this war. We believe that Pakistan should be ready to facilitate US exit from Afghanistan. This means helping in the dialogue with the Taliban and in any other way that ensures a stable Afghanistan. We are clear that a stable Afghanistan is in Pakistan’s interest,†he added.
He announced that the party would hold its first protest rally against this decision on July 5 (today) in Gujranwala, which would be followed by a protest rally in Peshawar on July 14.
