Makhdoom Shahabuddin released on bail

Talking to media, Shahabudding said that this wouldn't happened if he had not nominated for the PM post.

According to the sources, Shahabuddin appealed the Peshawar high court on the non-bailable arrest warrants rather then the Islamabad High court for some unknown reasons and today he was granted a bail.

Earlier, On Thursday The warrant was announced after the Pakistan People's Party nominated Makhdoom Shahabuddin, raising suspicion it was politically motivated and aimed at blocking the president's choice to replace Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Pakistan's Makhdoom Shahabuddin lodged his bid to be elected prime minister by parliament, in a move expected to end a power vacuum created by the dismissal of premier Yousaf Raza Gilani for contempt.
