NAB spokesman, in his statement, said that Advocate Nadeem was arrested on the orders of the accountability court. He further claimed that the Advocate was arrested while attempting to escape the country.

Advocate Akram Shiekh and Sindh High Court Bar President, Anwar Mansoor, have claimed that Advocate Nadeem's arrest was all a part of a conspiracy in order to take some sort of revenge against the Ahmed & Qazi owner.
