Riaz never offered any ‘favors’ to anchorpersons: Bukhari

During a media conversation at the Lahore Registry on Saturday, Counsel for Malik Riaz hussain, Zahid Bukhari rejected all the claims made all around the media that Malik Riaz never presented any Car, money, air-tickets, land or anything to anybody.

Moreover, Fake letterhead was used in the pictures viral on the internet.

He read the e-mail of Malik Riaz as, "I never gave any houses, plots, money or anythnig to the journalists. I denied and rejected all the false claims made in the media".

Talking about the Arsalan Iftikhar case, Bukhari said that Supreme court has transferred the case to the Attorney General Irfan Qadir now truth will be brought in front of the nation.

However, the evidences in the case can not be neglected. As I mentioned that Supreme Court is not an investigative agency therefore the case investigation has transferred, now it will be given to either NAB or any other agency, said Bukhari.

Everybody should speak the truth and who ever is guilty will definitely put behind the bars, he added.

A wave of record of payments allegedly made to 19 senior-journalists of Pakistan, by the Bahria Town owner Malik Riaz has surfaced on the social networking site Twitter.

In this regard a video was also shared on website Youtube, showing an off-the-record conversation between television anchors Meher Bokhari and Mubasher Lucman, and Riaz. The footage made public on Thursday made some shocking revelations, including the fact that the entire interview was planted.

The video titled, “Malik Riaz Planted Interview with Mehar Bukhari and Mubasher Lukman on Dunya TV” reveals shocking evidence and confessions.

In the leaked videos, it appears as if Malik Riaz was already aware of the questions he was supposed to be “grilled” with, by hosts Meher Bukhari and Mubasher Lucman.

According to our sources, The management of Dunya TV decided to lodged an FIR against the  responsible person, who publicize the video of a controversial interview with Bahria Town chief Malik Riaz.
