The Supreme Court has ordered Haqqani to appear in court within two weeks and later adjourned the hearing.

The bench, headed by the chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, comprised Justices Mian Shakirullah Jan, Jawwad S. Khawaja, Khilji Arif Hussain, Tariq Parvez, Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Amir Hani Muslim, Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry and Azmat Saeed.

According to the sources,The commission investigating the Infamous Memogate Scandal presented the report in Supreme court today, in which it was written that Hussain Haqqani is indeed guilty of authoring the memo, and the reason behind it was to prove that the Pakistani government as 'US- friendly'.

The former ambassador chose not to stay in Pakistan, the report said, adding that neither did Haqqani have any property in the country, nor did he have any bank balance.

But, he was getting $20million annually in US.

The court summoned the former ambassador to appear in the next hearing and adjourned the case for two weeks. In this connection, notices were also issued to the concerned parties.

The court has ordered to make the report public.

However, Haqqani has decided to challenge the verdict in the court.
