During the investigation, Police found out that the torture was being done by the step mother of the adolescent girl instead of the employer.

Additional district and Session Judge Rao Abdul Jabbar recorded the statement of Sobia today . According to which she was tortured many times by her step mother. She wasn't unable to recall the names of any member of her house.

She was very scared and do not want to go her home.

On Thursday, The battered girl was found lying on the street by an Edhi worker, who dispatched her to the Civil hospital.

The ten year old was battered and beaten near death. Her limbs and arms were broken; she got severe injuries to the head during the assault and she had burn marks all over her body.

The little girl is currently under Child Protection Bureau (CPB) of Gujranwala.
