A ruling from the High Court of Sindh came today on Friday, directing the Sindh Government to conduct local body elections, in 90 days. Aaj News reported.
A petition was filed in the SHC by Sukkur's ex-Nazim Nasir Hussain, about two years ago. The two-member bench of Sindh High Court, comprising of Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Nadeem Ahmed, announced the ruling on that petition.
The bench ruled that the Sindh Government is bound to conduct local elections with in the next 90 days, according to the constitution.
