WASHINGTON: In an exclusive interview with Aaj news, Former ambassador of Pakistan to United States Hussain Haqqani, refused all the claims of central character of memogate, Mansoor Ijaz and termed him as a liar who possessed no evidences against him.

On Sunday, Hussain Haqqani announced his immediate disassociation from the commission formed to probe the memo controversy. He said there is no provision in constitution which empowers Supreme Court of Pakistan to form memo like commission, adding that the decision could not be made about the fate of the ambassador on just speculations of someone.

He said that Ahmed Shuja Pasha was under the wrong impression, to think that Mansoor was telling truth, adding that he is going to quit the proceedings of the Memogate Commission. He

said that the cause of quitting the memo commission proceedings is the order of commission for the forensic test of 19th March.
