ISLAMABAD: A meeting with respect to the investigation of the Memo Commission is being held at the Islamabad High Court on Saturday.
Akram Shiekh submitted the answer within the Memo Commission on the request of Zahid Bukhari. As per the remarks of Justice Essa, “the commission would decide as to when the proceedings would be over.â€
Mansoor Ejaz’s lawyer, Akram Shiekh, submitted his client’s answer as per the request of Zahid Bukhari. In his answer, Ejaz’s lawyer uttered that Zahid Bukhari, Hussain Haqqani’s lawyer, had stated that the Memo Commission proceedings were over.
Justice Faaiz Essa, on hearing these remarks, stated that it was upon the court to decide as to when the proceedings would be over.
“If Hussain Haqqani wants his Blackberry to undergo forensic test, he (Haqqani) would have to pay for the cost himself,†said Akram Shiekh
Haqqani, through an American based lawyer, has sent a notice to Mansoor Ejaz claiming for compensation.
