After the issuance of the notification, the working week has been reduced to 5 days a week.

As per the notification, all government offices would operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the 5 day period from Monday to Friday.

The notification also instructs Commercial businesses such as shopping areas to operate till 8:30 p.m.
