The documents were released the documents were seized during the May 1 Abbottabad operation which eventually led to the assassination of the Taliban leader.

The documents made available to CTS so far do not indicate any institutional Pakistani support to Al-Qaeda.

The documents are considered to give an insight into the Al-Qaida leader's terror plans and largely solitary life.

Both the Arabic and the translated English version of the documents are available on the center’s website.

The documents revealed that Osama wanted President Barack Obama and U.S. Gen. David Petraeus killed, but did not have the resources to carry out the assassinations.

As per the center’s findings, the earliest document dates back to September 2006 whilst the recent one relates to April 2011. The documents are written by many different Al-Qaida leaders including Osama, Atiyya Abd al-Rahman, Abu Yahya al-Libi and Adam Gadahn, the Al-Qaida's American spokesman.

"Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make [Vice President Joe] Biden take over the presidency for the remainder of the term, as it is the norm over there," bin Laden wrote in a letter to one of his top lieutenants. "Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the U.S. into a crisis. As for Petraeus, he is the man of the hour in this last year of the war, and killing him would alter the war's path,” one of the letter stated.

Another document was found to be stating that Obama sought revenge on the Afghanistan war and was also sure that the Americans did not have the ability to continue it.

"They struck us and we will strike them back," he wrote, according to the CTC's translation. "This year has been the worst year for them in Afghanistan since they invaded it. The number of their dead has never been this high according to their own reports. Their financial crisis continues. Britain has lowered is defense budget and America is reducing the budget of the Pentagon. Anyone who knows the world and knows politics knows that it is impossible for them to continue with the war."

In another letter, Osama explained that they (Al-Qaida) had to face two different enemies, one being the Arab Leaders whilst the prime target being America.

The letters stated the Arab leaders as the Internal enemy whilst America was stated as the external leader. The letter further explained that Ummah faced greater threat from America and if God permits, America would be crumpled.
