KARACHI: A meeting under the headship of Chief Minister, Qaim Ali Shah, was called upon on Wednesday evening. The main agenda of the meeting was to address the law and order situation within Karachi especially Lyari.
The meeting was also attended by top officials of the Sindh Government.
The meeting was followed by a press conference by Sindh Chief Minister.
While talking to media reporters, Chief Minister Sindh stated, “No criminal activities would be tolerated within the provinceâ€.
With respect to Lyari situation, the CM added that an operation against all criminals would be conducted on an unbiased basis within Lyari.
“The situation of interior Sindh is better, the main focus is towards the law and order situation within Karachiâ€, Qaim Ali Shah stated.
Rangers involvement in the Lyari area was also on the cards as the CM stated, “the Rangers would also participate within the operation as there are no distances between Rangers and the Police; both the law enforcing authorities would soon work collectively to end criminal activities within the Lyari areaâ€.
