LAHORE: Former Ambassador to United States Husain Haqqani has submitted an application to Research In Motion (RIM) requesting for the data of  his black Berry, Aaj news reported.

Zahid Bukhari the counsel for Haqqani was talking to media in Lahore said, an e-mail has sent to the company asking for the record of Haqqani's phone and he will present the copy of application before the memo commission.

He further said that, by writing to RIM, Haqqani wants to prove that he is ready to comply with all judicial orders.

Haqqani life is in danger therefore requested the court to record his statement via video link, Bukhari added.
