He said that his lawyers will prepare a lawsuit action against the two PML-N leaders on charge of accepting bribes worth Rs 10 and 20 billion respectively. He said a charge notice will be issued to the accused in this case.
Malik denied having prior knowledge of the Mehrangate issue saying, “The Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) neither comes under the authority of Interior ministry nor their administrative, financial and operational working is controlled by it."
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, recently claimed legal actions against the Mehrangate key witness Yunis Habib. He stated that a lawsuit was being prepared against the Ex Mehran Bank head on charges of defaming him and his brother.
In a press conference at the Sharif residence, the chief minister told the reporters about his plans of suing Habib for his over-estimated allegations. Malik has ordered his lawyer to issue a notice to Sharif and Hussain in this regard, said the statement.
