SC summons National Bank President Qamar Hussain

President National Bank of Pakistan, Qamar Hussain was earlier summoned by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, on Wednesday, when the NBP employee reinstatement case was being under proceedings.

The three member bench was headed by the Chief Justice, who remarked that the bank's president should testify in court. He said that the court ordered the reinstatement of all employess on 15 September 2003, but the order's have not been fulfilled yet and the problem still exists.

The National Bank president was ordered to show up in court on his own expense tomorrow, as Justice Khilji remarked the the court will not waste public funds in this regard.

The Cheif Justice also remarked that a failure to fulfill the court's wishes, made in 2004, will be held against the people who didn't comply to those wishes.
