The government of Azad Jammu Kashmir has kick started legal efforts to setup a legal structure that would help convict and punish the culprits involved in acid attacks. Â AajNews reported.
Sources say, that President Azad Kashmir has approved the punishment of life in prison and a fine worth Rs 1 million to be charged to the person found guilty in acid throwing incidents.
The ordinance would remain effective for three months until the legislation is passed.
