A gas leakage has claimed one person's life while several others lost conscience in a factory earlier today, Aaj News reported.

Sources say that the deceased who was known as Mohammed Anees who was a worker in the textile factory located in SITE area Karachi.

Several others including women fell to the floors because of unknowingly inhaling the gas.

The effected people have been taken to hospital for necessary treatments.
