US govt not endorses Balochistan resolution: Hoagland

Talking to PTV, the US Acting Ambassador said that the US government did not endorse the resolution on Balochistan.He said the representatives or Senators have every right to introduce any kind of resolutions or bills, “but that does not represent the policy of the US Administration.”Richard Hoagland further said that “the US State Department had no prior knowledge” of the last week’s hearing on Balochistan as well as this resolution.
He said that the Congressman who moved the resolution in the US Congress could only get support of the two members out of 435 members in the House.
Richard Hoagland said with 112th session of the Congress in progress, “over 4000 bills and resolutions have been submitted for consideration and so far only 91 have passed”, which is a very small percentage.
