Pakistan unstoppable; maiden White-Wash against England

Mohsin Khan the interim coach for Pakistan achieved his desperate need to beat England today. Pakistan clean sweeps the test series by winning the final test match today, in Dubai.

Pakistan won their previous two matches displaying ease and expertise on the field both in bowling and batting departments and successfully completed their maiden white wash against the world’s number one side.

England’s glorified batting line-up proved mythical in front of Pakistan spin attack in this test series. Jonathan Trott who made 141 runs in four innings tops their batting order, while Alastair Cook 109 is the second highest scorer for England in this series. Both failed to provide a solid beginning to the English side.

England batsmen face dropping out of the top 10 in the International cricket rankings after being bedazzled by Pakistani spinners.

Off-spinner Ajmal led the destruction with 17 while Abdul Rehman took 12 wickets and Mohammad Hafeez 5.

Key batsmen Kevin Pietersen, experienced campaigner Ian Bell and Rookie Eoin Morgan struggled to cope with spin balling through out the series as England lost their first Test in three days and second in four days.

Misbah on the other hand, has shown composure and sustain by sticking with his coach’s plan and putting his full effort in captaining the team towards this psychologically, if not monetary, rewarding victory, beating England 3-0. Pakistan also became the first team in more than 100 years to win a test match after being dismissed at less than 100 runs in the first innings.

Whereas in the second inning, relentless Azhar Ali 157 and veteran Younis Khan 127 collected enough runs between them to place Pakistan in a comfortable situation to exploit the pitch and tumble English batsmen out one after another.

Ajmal has a solid chance of becoming the number one bowler in Test and ODIs while Pakistan is expecting the 3rd spot in  test rankings after beating England with 71 runs.

Man of the Match: Azhar Ali

Man of the Series: Saeed Ajmal

Pakistan will now face Afghanistan in a One Day International on 10th of February.
