Addressing the inaugural session of National Seerat Conference arranged by Ministry of Religious Affairs, he said "adopting reconciliation is the only way to resolve the problems faced by the country and the nation".

Khurshid Shah congratulated the nation on the occasion of birth anniversary of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and urged them to follow the teachings of Islam propagated by the last Prophet of Almighty Allah.

"Eid Milad-un-Nabi is the day of love, respect and happiness and the whole nation must unitedly promote harmony and tolerance among themselves", the minister said.

The message of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is for the whole Muslim Ummah and one can improve his life through seeking guidance from the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he said.
