It said that another weather system was likely to enter Balochistan on Saturday that would produce widespread rain and snowfall over the hills of the province on Saturday and Sunday.

"After that, this expected weather system is likely to give scattered rain with snowfall over the hills, over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab including Islamabad and Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday/Monday," it says.

More snowfall is also predicted over the hills of Northern areas, Galliyat, Murree and Kashmir during the period.
