Talking to media, he said that western winds will enter into Pakistan on Saturday while rain and snowfall is expected in most mountain areas of northern Balochistan on Saturday night and Sunday.
He said snowfall is expected on Monday and Tuesday in several areas including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa, Murree, Galiyat and Kaghan Naraan.
Hanif said that by the end of this month there will be another spell of rain and snowfall in upper areas of the country.
Director MET said that weather pattern is quiet different this year and foggy weather will continue in coming days in spite of continuous rains in different parts of the country.
There is no possibility of snowfall on Margala hills of federal capital, he added.
