Meanwhile four more ships with containers and LPG also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was managed at the Port thirty eight percent on Wednesday where total number of five ships namely C.V CMA CGM Verdi, C.V MSC Anafi, M.V Leopard-B, M.V La Palama and M.T Feng Hai-II are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice and palm oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 55,246 tonnes, comprising 19,574 tonnes imports and 35,672 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2,204 containers (TEUs) was handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
Edible oil vessel Feng Hai-II sailed out to sea on Thursday morning while container Vessels CMA CGM Verdi and MSC Anafi are expected to sail same day.
Six ships C.V Safmarine Ngami, C.V Nexo Maersk, C.V New Delhi Express, M.T Fine Galaxy, M.T Al-Salam-II and M.T Siva Cara carrying containers, palm oil, diesel oil and LPG are expected to take berths at QICT, LCT, FOTCO and SSGCT respectively on Thursday, 19th January.
