Ahsan democracy is only threatened by extra constitutional steps.

Talking to media, PPP leader said that his opinion is different from the party on the issue of writing letter for reopening of Swiss courts, adding that president would have full immunity under article 248 of the constitution.

Ahsan said that his stance differs from PPP’s decision regarding writing of letter to Swiss authorities, adding that it is not necessary that his stance stays the same as the decisions taken by the party’s top leaders.
