Speaking in the National Assembly, the Prime Minister said that late Pir Sahib Pagara was a symbol of federation and his services in the field of politics and for the country would always be remembered.

The Prime Minster said he himself had learnt a lot from late Pir Pagra, adding when his father died in 1978, Pir Sahib invited him to join Pakistan Muslim League and "I was nominated as member of Central Working Committee of Pakistan Muslim League".

Prime Minister Gilani while paying rich tributes to Azeem Daultana said that he was a shining parliamentarian and always delivered up to the mark on all occasions.
