Cabinet meeting in Karachi today

The meeting will coincide with the rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, which, according to Imran Khan, would be a ‘tsunami in the country’s political history’. The agenda of the meeting will be ‘Vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and efforts of the present government to translate it into reality’.

Official sources told Business Recorder that all Cabinet members, led by Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, would visit Mazar-e-Qauid-e-Azam at 11.15 am.

They will participate in ceremonies where the National Anthem and mili naghmays will be broadcast. Cabinet members will lay floral wreaths and offer fateha at Mazar-e-Quaid-e-Azam. Prime Minister will sign the visitors’ book, followed by a group photograph.

According to sources, attendance has been made compulsory for all Ministers, Advisors and bureaucrats.

“Timing will be strictly observed, whereas the dress code will be national/lounge suit for all participants,” sources added.
