At the very onset of proceedings, Asif Hussain of MQM while speaking on a point of order, said he wanted to draw the attention of the chair to the plight of Ms Ayesha Mailk, who was again put behind jail despite being bailed out by the Lahore High Court last day.

Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and some other PML-N members jumped on their seats and started condemning the MQM in chorus. Mehtab Abbasi said it was a personal issue of Hamza Shahbaz and could not be discussed in the august House.

Speaker Dr Fehmida sought the opinion of Minister for Religious Affairs Khurshid Shah who endorsed the viewpoint of Mehtab Abbasi saying that personal affairs of any person could not be discussed in the House.

MQM's Dr Farooq Sattar said a daughter of Pakistan was being tortured by a PML-N MNA using state power. A case under Section 365 has been registered against Ms Aisha Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.
