Instruction for heads of medical institutions

In this connection, the Secretary Health issued a circular to all concerned. He said that early detection and diagnoses was of paramount importance for providing proper treatment to the dengue patients.

He directed the principals and medical superintendents of the teaching hospitals that senior consultants must pay due attention to the patients management and treatment of serious patients admitted in high dependency units to protect their lives and reduce mortality rate.

The Secretary Health said that medical experts have advised the citizens that in case fever continues three days they must consult a qualified doctor so that proper treatment could be started well in time.
