First hajj flight departs from Karachi

After the government allowed international airlines to fly Pakistani pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, Flight no EY-222 left Karachi at 5:50am.

The First International Hajj flight from Quaid e Azam International Airport was departed from the Provincial capital carrying 150 pilgrims.

Around 100 pligrims will reach Jeddah from Dubai, 19 from Doha. While 65 of them will arrive from Abu Dhabi.

All the intending pilgrims have been directed to follow the directives of e Ministry of Religious Affairs and reached Haji camps at specified time. Keeping in view security concerns, The people have been requested to refrain from creating unnecessary rush at the airport.

This year a total of 180,000 pilgrims will perform their Hajj.
