IG Sindh police Wajid Ali Durrani also informed the court that the investigation officer of Chakra Goth case has dismissed, and SHO has been transferred. He added that, Karachi has a population of 180 billion and the investigation on Karachi issue is underway.

He further said that, 40% of the people are affiliated with the political parties which are obstacle in the case.

The Chief Justice remarked the court had ordered that shoulder promotions be stopped but this was not implemented in Sindh.

IG Sindh replied, The police acted against them but the offenders got stay order from the court.

CJP asked that, Is there any political pressure on police?

The court will discuss this issue in the next hearing.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing till September 13.
