Coach Younis to quit after Zimbabwe tour

Younis said Saturday that "personal reasons" are behind his decision to leave after Pakistan completes a tour comprising one test, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 games. Pakistan squad departs next week.

He says he doesn't want to be part of any "injustice to the team and to the country." Younis replaced Intikhab Alam as coach last year and says he has enjoyed his 1½-year stint in the job. His high point came when Pakistan reached the World Cup semifinals in March, losing to arch rival India.
