According to police, the ill-fated family belonged to Afghan refugees. They had some dispute with their son-in-law who had threatened them some days back.

On Tuesday, the accused along with his accomplices arrived at the home of his in-laws and started indiscriminate fire resulting eight people including two women and a child were killed.

Police have registered a case and started further investigation.
