According to rescue sources, two rival groups started firing in Khokhrapar area of Malir that killed four people and injured twelve others. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital.

On the directives of Home Minister Manzoor Wassan, Rangers and police personnel increased patrolling in the area.

Firing incidents were reported between armed groups in Khokhrapar area of Malir Colony and Landhi.

The bodies and injured were taken to different hospitals of the city including Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) and Sindh Government Hospital Malir.
