The court also accepted bail of thirteen policemen who were arrested in this case.

Despite being directed by Shahbaz Sharif, Anjum Aqeel has not surrendered to the police.

Aqeel Anjum was arrested by Islamabad Police allegedly for involvement in a fraud case. The armed workers of PML-N attacked and resorted to firing at the Shalimar Police Station, where the accused was under detention at that time.
