According to a spokesperson from Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited, the gas company developed a load management schedule to overcome gas shortage by shutting gas supply to CNG stations in the region for two days a week.
He said that a load management schedule was being implemented by the government. In case of violation, owners would face problems, in addition to having their gas connections suspended, he claimed.
In this situation, some vehicle owners and transporters are exploiting passengers by overcharging and overloading, as a large number of CNG vehicles were not operating on roads.
