Salman miffed with a music channel that’s undermining ‘Ready’

The show being telecast on the music channel is raising questions like ‘Will ‘Ready’ meet the expectations?’ and ‘Has the price of the film been exaggerated to earn more profits?’

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar who has not been doing too well with his films in the recent past. All his films ‘Karzzz’, ‘Kajra Re’ and ‘Patiala House’ sank without a trace.

Bhushan who owns the company T-Series had sued the same music channel last year for copyright infringement where the channel had to pay a huge amount to his company as compensation.

Ajay Kapoor, director T-Series spoke to a taboid and said, “We had taken this channel to Court and they had to pay us a fine. Despite that they continued to flout rules, we again took legal action against them, the matter is freshly coming up for a hearing soon.”

“We have stopped giving them software of all our songs. It’s their loss,” he added.

T-Series also wrote to the Film & TV Producers Limited complaining about the channels intervention with their projects. To which, Anurag Bedi, the Business Head of the channel, replied saying that his channel has not voilated the Copyright Act.

Bedi, in his defence spoke to the tabloid and said, “Pray, why is Bhushan upset if he has already sold ‘Ready’? The distributors who have bought the film should be worried. Whatever we have stated in our trade analysis of ‘Ready’ is purely factual.”

This has extremely angered Salman Khan. He is upset with the music channel and thinks this is very unprofessional on their part.

According to Kapoor, “Bhai (as Salman is fondly called in the industry) is upset. Usko pata hai kya ho raha hai. This whole negativity is really not done. Ready is releasing on June 3.
