England win warm up match against Pakistan

Green shirts were all out on the total of 206 runs in 46. 1 overs while chasing the target of 274 runs. Former Captain Younis Khan was top scorer with the 80 runs. Stuart Broad took 5 wickets.

Earlier Kevin Pietersen and Paul Collingwood both scored 50s as England reached 273 all out against Pakistan in both teams’ final World Cup warmup game on Friday.

Ian Bell (39), Ravi Bopara (35) and Matt Prior (24) also contributed as the batting attack found some useful pre-tournament form.
No. 2 Pietersen scored 66 off 78 balls to steady the innings after captain Andrew Strauss and Jonathan Trott were both dismissed cheaply. The team was all out in 49.4 overs.

Pakistan opened with Shoaib Akhtar, who bowled Strauss early on but lost much of his menace as the game wore on.
